Our experience with substance abuse
My son had a horrible substance abuse problem. My husband and I were wildly desperate to try to help/save our son and get him into substance abuse treatment. He was in a breath-taking downward spiral and we felt that his next steps could well be hospitalization, law-breaking, jail or death. We all were lucky enough to find a phenomenal luxury residential addiction treatment facility in Malibu, CA.. You advised us that this substance abuse treatment center could be the best treatment center for our son.
I now like to say that we all experienced an intervention of the 21st century. We just returned from the Family Program and are forever changed by the program. We now feel that we finally ‘get it.’ Not only do we have a better understanding of what our son is experiencing but we learned so much more about ourselves and how we relate to both of our sons. Our son stayed for the 28 day program and has continued with the extended care program.
We will always be grateful for the experience of working with you. It changed all of our lives for the better.
